Proactive Treatment = Best Treatment

In the last 20 years, research has shown that there's a distinct connection between common childhood health issues and Sleep-Disordered Breathing (SDB). Even a mild case of SDB can be a sign of serious underlying health concerns.

A small or compromised airway is the primary issue for many children suffering from sleep-disordered breathing. An underdeveloped, narrow airway can keep your child from getting enough oxygen when they're asleep, leading to disturbed sleep and health issues.

The Vivos Guide System

Vivos treatment can bring the upper and lower jaws forward while making them wider, opening the airway of your child as they grow. This treatment is non-invasive and doesn't require any surgery but has the potential to improve your child's life drastically.

Vivos Guide Series uses natural forces to change the structure of the mouth. The tongue, chewing force, and proper breathing can all help to promote jaw and facial development.

This treatment is best done between the ages of 5 and 14, as 80% of the jaw and facial development occurs by the age of 14. Vivos not only opens up the airway but can also prevent or reduce the need for future orthodontic care.

A Cephalometric X-ray can be taken to determine growth patterns and inconsistencies between the upper and lower jaws. Measurements are also taken to determine if your child's airway is constricted.
